Nkumbe Ekaney KC

Nkumbe joined us as a door tenant in 2020 having appeared in a number of cases in our local courts. 

His extensive High Court experience, particularly in complex cases involving non accidental injury, death, FII and sexual abuse, is a welcome addition to our family team. His skill in managing complex medical evidence is well-recognised.

Nkumbe has a particular expertise in forms of abuse justified on cultural and religious grounds such as FGM and radicalisation.

With great attention to detail and a robust approach in court his relaxed style puts clients at ease in even the most difficult of situations.

He is joint Head of Chambers at 1GC.
