James Colwell recently represented the children (C and D) by their children’s guardian (Ms Y) in an application brought by the father for leave to oppose adoption orders (AB v Durham County Council (Revocation of Placement Orders) [2024] EWFC 370).
The application was ultimately refused with the court determining the children’s best interests was in being placed with the identified adopters. The matter was heard by Mr Justice Poole over 3 days with evidence being considered.
