Paul Rooney and Elisha Marsay get case dismissed for their client

Jun 25, 2026

Paul and Elisha were successful in their application to dismiss charges of damaging property with intent to endanger life and dangerous driving.

Their client was accused of driving a pickup truck into the front of a house in an alleged revenge attack concerning two organised crime gangs (OCGs) in the Northeast of England.

The application for the case to be dismissed was resisted by the prosecution who sought an adjournment to gather evidence to support the allegations but the skeleton argument, together with the oral submissions that were put to the court by Paul and Elisha persuaded the Judge to dismiss both counts and their client was released from custody.
