Following a two-week trial at Teesside Crown Court, Richard Bennett and Sam Faulks secured the conviction of the final defendant in a large scale armed robbery conspiracy. The trial followed a complex investigation by Cleveland Police. Ian Ogden was serving a prison sentence when he helped orchestrate two high value armed robberies in Yarm and Middlesbrough. A number of other defendants have already pleaded guilty to their part and all now await sentence in the next few weeks. Robbery report here
