Paul Rooney and Philip Morley successfully prosecuted two Organised Crime Groups based in Co. Durham and Bradford, in relation to conspiracy to supply Class A drugs (cocaine) and Class B drugs (cannabis).
The trial at Newcastle Crown Court lasted four weeks, finishing in September 2021. Paul and Philip were instructed by the Complex Case Unit based in Teesside. This was the second part of Operation Eastmain during which over £250,000.00 worth of cocaine was recovered.
All six men are to be sentenced in 2022.
