Rebecca Brown, led by Richard Wright KC, prosecuted the case at Newcastle Crown Court. Two defendants, Daniel Graham and Adam Carruthers, were convicted of two counts of criminal damage following the illegal felling of the tree at ‘Sycamore Gap.’
