Five defendants were accused of killing Lee Clarkson in November 2023. The prosecution alleged they were acting together as a gang, to hunt down a man who had committed a burglary, at the home of one of the defendants in Bishop Auckland.
Paul acting as a led junior, defended Helen Jones, she was the only defendant acquitted of Murder and Manslaughter.
Rebecca also acting as a led junior, defended Craig Dent. He accepted using a baseball bat to strike the victim during the fatal attack. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter before trial and was acquitted of Murder.
